Shabbat b'Yahad ("Shabbat Together")

As an integral part of our religious school program, students in grades pre-kindergarten to 6 participate in a special Shabbat educational program that rounds out their Hebrew school learning. Shabbat b'Yahad meets once a month.

Shabbat b'Yahad Shelanu for pre-kindergarten through grade 1

Shabbat b'Yahad Shelanu brings the Torah alive with our children as active participants. We will pray, sing songs, play games, listen to stories and be creative! And of course, there's a snack!

Explore Jewish heritage on a deeper level

Shabbat b'Yahad allows students to dig deeper into their heritage by researching and presenting topics of Jewish study based on a common theme.  Students enjoy a Junior Congregation service where they become familiar and comfortable with the Shabbat prayers and play the role of both participants and leaders.

Interactive seminar format for 6th graders

For our 6th graders, we offer a highly interactive seminar format taught by one of our own member scholars who leads a fascinating discussion about Jewish texts and current news events.
