Social Action - Teen Opportunities

TELEM

Teen Social ActionFor Grades 8 through 12, TELEM meets Monday evenings at Congregation Or Atid during the school year where students enjoy dinner and a brief time to socialize, and then engage in a specially designed curriculum on social justice from the Jewish perspective. The program involves stimulating conversation as well as time volunteering at Minuteman ARC, a residential facility in West Concord for special needs young adults. Our teens provide appropriate fun-filled evening activities for the residents and develop strong relationships and bonds along the way. Our Telem program meets the social action requirement of all area High Schools!
